• The Fête du Vélo will be held on Saturday 8 June 2024 from 2pm to 6pm on Place de l'Eglise and part of Rue Centrale in Chauffailles, which will be reserved for pedestrians and cyclists. This event, organised by the Communauté de Communes Brionnais Sud Bourgogne, has been made possible by the enthusiasm and commitment of the teams and elected representatives of the town of Chauffailles, cycling associations and specialist shops. Cafés and restaurants in the town centre are invited to - take advantage of the event to set up their outdoor terraces and offer drinks and snacks. - 3 highlights : - 2pm : Meet at Place de l'Eglise to discover the many workshops and activities for young and old : - - Workshop to learn how to repair your bike with the ESC de Chauffailles, - - An area dedicated to cycle travel, run by the Chauffailles Cycle Touring Club, - - Get back in the saddle" workshop to test out electrically-assisted bikes in complete safety, and a cycling loop from the town centre via the shopping area. Both workshops will be run by the Chauffailles GRS association. Dun Mountain: Mountain of 708 m above sea level, overlooking the valley Sornin.
