Chirens

• Priory of Our Lady of Gayet: Romanesque church of the 11th century which has frescoes by François Chambon 1685 and houses an exhibition on the Rule of St. Benedict and illumination on the work of Roger Louis (painter of the 20th century).
• Marsh Chirens: Dating back to the ice age, the marshes of the Val d'Ainan span 380 hectares, between the foothills of Chartreuse and Lake Paladru. They are an important nesting site for birds such as the Warbler warbler, and reproduction in amphibians.
