Décines-Charpieu, former rural and industrial town is a small town in East Lyon developing. Located 20 minutes from the center of Lyon - and Lyon Saint Exupéry International Airport - Décines commune served by the tram, now has more than 25 000 inhabitants. Its agricultural past few remaining small farms adobe, some of which are still in business.
Décines enjoys a privileged natural heritage and has maintained natural areas near Lyon: fields V-Green (cereals, vegetables and hives), the Grand Large, its sailing clubs, fishermen, taverns... and the input of Miribel-Jonage Park: 2200 acres of unspoilt forests, lakes, golf, tennis, biking and equestrian centers.
In 2016, the Montout Plain welcome the new Olympic Park Lyonnais / Grand Stade des Lumières in Lyon.
