Charming little town of Bas-Rhin, in the Grand Est region, Entzheim takes place about twenty kilometers from Strasbourg, in the historic region of Alsace. Known to house Strasbourg airport, it is located not far from Lingolsheim, Innenheim and Altorf.
Mentioned in the 8th century, the municipality of Entzheim was originally owned by the monastery of Murbach, itself a dependency of the abbey of Saint-Denis. Hit hard by the great conflicts of history like the Thirty Years War or the Dutch War, it experienced a new boom in the 19th century with the arrival of the railway line between Strasbourg and Barr, then in the 20th century with the arrival of the airport.
From its origins, Entzheim has preserved an interesting heritage, revealing to its visitors a traditional Alsatian architecture which is not without interest.
