Small village of just under 300 inhabitants of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Eppe-Sauvage is located on the border of Belgium, the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Avesnois. Previously, the city was home to a manor, reflecting the ancient past of the village.
Today green and quiet village Eppe-Sauvage owes its fame to the great resort that is home to the heart of the forest and on the edge of a lake of 180 hectares. The town is ideal for a quiet holiday in communion with nature and for practicing many outdoor activities, sports or not.
Ideally located, the village of Eppe-Sauvage is perfect to enjoy northern tourist sites, like the museum Fourmies, located nearby, or the various departmental museums like the Roman site of Bavay.
The cuisine also has its place with the proximity of the products tastier and fragrant soil.
