Built in the late twelfth century in a beautiful Romanesque style, the church of Our Lady of the Assumption has suffered over the centuries many destructions and reconstructions that give it its current appearance. From the original building remains today little remains, like the portal to the six capitals. The church has suffered in the 2010s a major restoration campaign that has helped to highlight its most beautiful architectural and decorative elements.

Built for a family-trading of spirits in the nineteenth century, the castle housed the keyboard during the Second World War a school for noncommissioned officers of the German anti-aircraft defense. Summer camp in the 1950s, is currently being converted into a hotel but its huge park is open to the public.

As you wander the city, be sure not to admire the Vendome mill and the mill Benoist, which testify to the important cereal activity of the common past.

The weekly market is held every Friday morning.

All summer, the town offers many festivities with shows, games and other activities planned for the whole family.

In September, the feast of biodiversity is an opportunity to learn more about nature and the environment that surround us.
