Today in ruins, the Lesdiguieres castle still stands in the municipality of Le Glaizil in the Hautes-Alpes. Listed historic monument, it was ravaged in the late seventeenth century by the troops of the Duke of Savoy.
Built in the late sixteenth century, the castle was then the Lesdiguieres Francois property Good, Duke of Lesdiguières Constable and Marshal of France and leader of the Protestants. The French Revolution in 1789 eventually ravage the building with the desecration of graves and the degradation of the structure.
