Dominating the village of Saint-Disdier, in the heart of the beautiful scenery of the Dévoluy massif, the chapel of the Gicons, also called Mère-Église (Mother Church), is a remarkable example of Romanesque architecture, with a lauze roof on top of the nave, thatched roof over the apse and a stone bell tower. The interior of this picturesque 11th-century building is home to wall paintings representing the Last Judgement.
In summer, this historic building regularly hosts concerts.
