Village of the Ardennes, Les Mazures is located not far from Charleville-Mézières, in the canton of Bogny-sur-Meuse. Aquatic site, it is crossed by several rivers of which it shelters the sources.
A former medieval village from the 11th century, the commune of Les Mazures was once dependent on the seigneury of Montcornet. You can still admire some vestiges of this important time of the city. The town is also infamous for hosting the area's only camp for Jews during World War II.
