Municipality of Nièvre, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, Marzy takes place only a few kilometers from Nevers, at the confluence of the Allier and the Loire. It is located not far from Fourchambault, Saint-Eloi and Jouet-sur-l'Aubois.
Populated since Antiquity, the territory of Marzy has undergone many name changes over the centuries before taking the one we know today. The ancient Ecclessia de Marsiaco was once known for its now abandoned wine-growing activity, the vines of which have been withdrawn.
Full of charm, the small town remains appreciated for the beauty of its landscapes, as much as for its authenticity and its culture to be discovered through the museums on site.
