Montigny-lès-Cormeilles is a city of Ile-de-France located in the department of Val-d'Oise. It takes place not far from Herblay, Franconville, Cormeilles-en-Parisis or Le Plessis-Bouchard. Cergy-Pontoise is about fifteen kilometers from this municipality very well served by regional public transport.
A former property of the abbey of Saint-Denis, following a donation from Charlemagne, the commune of Montigny-lès-Cormeilles was only freed from its owner until the French Revolution in the eighteenth century. Today awarded the competition of the Towns and Villages in bloom in France, the city enjoys a pleasant setting which adds up to more than ten hectares of forests.
In addition to its natural heritage, the Ile-de-France region also has a few monuments to discover during a walk in the city center.
