Charming town of Meurthe-et-Moselle, in the Grand Est, Saint-Max takes place at the gates of Nancy and its famous Place Stanislas. It is located not far from Dommartemont, Agincourt and Malzéville.
Mentioned in the 13th century, the commune of Saint-Max however dates back to the Gallo-Roman period. A simple small village for a long time, it nevertheless enjoyed considerable renown in the 16th century for its delicious gray wine which was found at the court of Lorraine.
