City of Meurthe-et-Moselle, in East Grand region Tomblaine takes place in Lorraine, a few kilometers from Nancy and its famous Place Stanislas. Situated on the banks of the Meurthe, it lies close to Maxéville, Saint-Max or Pulnoy.

Populated since Gallo-Roman times, as evidenced by the remains from - 500 BC found on site, the territory of Tomblaine has developed over the centuries, knowing periods more or less pomp. Destroyed by the Germans in 1944, it knew to go up the slope to unveil the welcoming face it has today.

Things to see and do

Destroyed in 1944 by the Germans, St. Peter's church was completely rebuilt in the 1950s However, she reveals to its visitors a portal and the first level of its Romanesque tower dating from the seventeenth century.

The weekly market is held every Sunday morning. In May, up to commercial sellout. The flea market is held in July tomblainoise. In late August, the town offers a flea market children. A Christmas market with entertainment is organized in December.

A carnival is held in March.
