Sainte-Sigolène

Built in the second half of the nineteenth century, Sainte-Sigolène church is a fine example of Gothic Revival architecture. Stone country, it also has stone columns Firminy and a stone porch of Saint-Péray. Long forty-five meters, it impresses with its quiet and incredible brightness at any time of the day.

Created in the early 1990s, the museum of the factory takes place in a former workshop for making scarves and is led by a team of former lace-makers and plastics processors. You can discover a dozen machines in operation, as well as exhibitions on weaving and plastic.

Founded in the second half of the seventeenth century, the house of the Blessed was originally dedicated to the education of the village youth. Completely restored in the late 1990s, the building can discover many stories that happened in the village.

To learn more about the history of the town and its heritage, it is possible to take the path marked by small green explanatory panels. Along 2.5 km, it can be supplemented by a booklet available at the tourist office.

The farmers' market is held every Saturday morning and the weekly market every Tuesday morning. The annual fair takes up for its June 15, while a Christmas market with entertainment is offered in December.

The Mists The festival offers several concerts in early July.

In August, up to the carnival, which is accompanied by a parade, a fireworks display or a petanque competition.
