Marmites du Diable loop

Depart from La Garrigue campsite, 1 km east of La Faurie.

Cross the campsite to the barrier at the far end. Go up and across the railway line and the main road. A yellow sign points to “Marmites du Diable” (giant’s kettles). Continue along the track then at the big bend, turn onto the path (yellow signs). After another 5 min, you reach the first of the giant’s kettles. Carry on along the path above the giant’s kettles. The path is slippery along this section. The first part of the path ends by crossing the stream and a few slopes, as well as crossing a wooded area. The path leads to hiking GRP hiking path. Turn left. The path goes down into the hamlet of Notre-Dame. You arrive in front of the Orthodox monastery and the road. Leave the municipal road by turning left onto the path (yellow signs). It passes in front of a spring water catchment system and arrives at the end of road RD1075, near an old barn. Cross the road and follow the initial path back to the campsite.
