Les hydrangeas

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this comfortable, well-equipped Normandy house. We had to arrange a last minute stay due to a double booking elsewhere and Claude responded in the middle of the night to rescue our holiday. Our hosts were very warm, friendly and helpful and could not have done more to make our week a success. The house had comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and was spotlessly clean. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, it was located in a quiet country area within easy reach of Rouen and other Normandy highlights. There was plenty of room for 2 couples and we enjoyed the spacious living areas. We would not hesitate to stay here again with M. and Mme Roussel. They went out of their way to ensure we had a delightful week.

Arrived on 20 December to a log fire and a fully dressed Christmas tree. It got better after that! Our hosts were kind, amusing and generous. Everything we needed was there. M and Mme Roussel are the best.

Nice surroundings, fine garden, nearby facilities in the village (much bigger than we expected), well located to explore the area, lots to see; everything we needed in the gite. Comfortable and cozy. It rained a lot while we were there and it was cold. Thank goodness for the stove.
