Commune of Indre-et-Loire, in Center-Val de Loire region, Charentilly takes place at about ten kilometers from Tours, between La Membrolle, Mettray, Saint-Roch, and Semblançay. A rural village, the site is popular for its setting and proximity to a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Built in the first half of the 19th century, the Château de Poillé is the work of architect Phidias Vestier for the Moisant family.

The Saint-Laurent church, as well as the Ligneries mansion, are also worth a visit if you are passing through the town of Charentilly. The gardens of the latter are open every year for the Heritage Days.

A marked pedestrian path allows to discover all the charms of this small village.
