Headquarters of the Cistercian Bonnecombe (XII c.), Comps-la-Grand-Ville has a parish church with a Baroque altarpiece crafted in 1660 for the Abbey Bonnecombe. Transported by Father Mignonac in 1806 in the church of Comps-la-Grand-Ville to protect it from looting, the choir of the church being too small, the altarpiece was amputated. A tabernacle from another altarpiece Bonnecombe there was built and restored in 1965. The abbey is open to visitors every day and the church.
