Things to see and do

Cuers offers its visitors an interesting architectural heritage bathed in a rich history full of grandeur.

Cuers is above all the charm of a Provencal village with houses dating mostly from the 16th and 17th centuries. While walking in the small alleys, one can thus admire there a very beautiful parish church of which the great organ of the XVIIth century were classified as Historic Monuments. It also houses a very interesting 16th century reliquary.

The ancient gates of the old village, like the many fountains and other washhouses, also bear witness to the age of the city and its living history.

Continuing the path, we climb the hill, towards Notre Dame de Santé and its incredible panorama on the surrounding hills, as well as on the vineyards of the Côtes de Provence. The panorama also presents the remains of the ruins of the old castle of Cuers.

A little further away from the city center, one can appreciate the beauty of pre-Roman oppida, as well as an ancient Roman aqueduct. The latter has been classified as a Historic Monument.

Inside and around Cuers, cellars and wine estates of various sizes allow you to discover the cultivation of vines in the region and to taste wines protected by several AOCs.
