Bourg de l'Aube, in the Grand Est region, Estissac takes place about twenty kilometers from Troyes, at the confluence of the Vallee and the streams of Bétrot and Ancre.
Formerly crossed by a Roman road, the town of Estissac takes its current name in 1758 on the will of the Duke of Rochefoucault, in memory of a land he owned in the Perigord. Formerly named Saint-Liébault, it has developed over the centuries an important paper business, including the presence of a mill.
Today, Estissac still attracts many visitors who come to discover the region thanks to its architectural and natural heritage, but also for its proximity to some of the most beautiful tourist sites in the area like Troyes and its historic center.
