A former Benedictine abbey, the Saint-Pierre de Ferrières abbey today only reveals its abbey church which was once the main church of a royal abbey founded in the 5th century by Clovis.
The building has retained some vestiges of its original period, particularly at the base of the bell tower and the rotunda of the transept. Here visitors will be able to admire a nave with a wooden cradle, a bell tower and a choir from the 13th century, as well as beautiful stained glass windows in the apse from the end of the 15th century.
