The church has the only church Kuhlendorf timbered Alsatian. This Protestant church with wood sides was built in 1820 to serve as an oratory and school "Bet und Schulhaus. It is the result of teamwork involving many local artisans. Once we entered the church through the door facing the street, while access to the school was on the side. The ground floor was converted classroom on the first floor and housing for the teacher. Today, parishioners enter the church that still contains the original furniture (altar, pulpit, pews), the former classroom. Also since 1978, it is classified a historical monument.
Do not miss the Schieweschlawe in February, an old practice of hunting winter with fiery discs, or the Rhine carnivals.
