Ladoix-Serrigny commune is located in the department of Côte-d'Or. It exists only since 1988 and was formerly known as Serrigny. Ladoix-Serrigny is in the urban area of Beaune, the heart of the Burgundy vineyards Côte de Beaune.
In nature, this small town has an interesting architectural and historical heritage and allows to learn more about the traditions of this region. Ideally located, it also allows to explore the wonders of the nearby town of Beaune.

Ladoix-Serrigny has an interesting heritage that attracts many visitors each year.
The Saint-Marcel church today has a choir and transept of the thirteenth century and a bell tower in the late eighteenth century. Inside the building, it is possible to admire the ancient remains as carved stones, or half pillars intricately carved. Stained glass, modern, represent the life of Saint Marcel, protector of crops and harvest.
The Chapel of Our Lady of the Way date for a major part of the eleventh century. The site is renowned for its miraculous spring that served as stopover on the way to Saint Jacques de Compostela. The chapel was also an important place of pilgrimage. According to tradition, they brought there dead children born or died in infancy in the hope of a miraculous resuscitation.
Castle Serrigny has a current building dating from the early eighteenth century. The architecture is based on several styles, and you can see inside a library Louis XIV or Louis XV shows. An important park in the English adds a special charm to the castle. Castle Serrigny is only open twice a year during Heritage Days and days of national parks and gardens.
Walking through Ladoix-Serrigny, visitors can enjoy laundries, one of which dates from the mid-nineteenth century, the mill of Camille which has the remains of the ancient monastery of St. Roch of mid-seventeenth century, or houses with typical architecture of the region.
We also liked the Miotte former rendezvous hunting eighteenth century, and the farm facing the castle with its bays of the fifteenth century. winemakers houses, witnesses of the vine growing in the region, parfont decor.
St. Vincent, patron saint of winemakers, takes place each year at the end of January with its various animations.
Every first weekend in July, Ladoix-Serrigny present his famous Gourmet Walk, a walk to publicize the vintners of the town and their various wines.
