At the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, the Trois Pignons massif is a unique, singular and diverse place, well known in the specific environment of climbers (rock climbers) from all over the world.

There are both immense expanses of white sands (the Sables du Cul de Chien), and sandstone rocks that climbers are familiar with.
