Charming small village of north region Hauts-de-France, Locquignol takes up to eighty kilometers from Lille and its tourist attractions in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Avesnois. Considered the largest municipality of Nord-Pas-de-Calais, it is located about twenty kilometers from Maubeuge and Valenciennes, near Maroilles and Le Quesnoy.
Originally, the village was a simple Locquignol go hunting for the counts of Hainaut. The site gradually became the face we know today, developing despite the horrors of the German occupation during the First or Second World War.
Today, the town in northern France attracts visitors with its natural charm as well as its proximity to some of the most beautiful sights in the region.
