Commune of Côtes-d'Armor, in Brittany, Quévert takes place about sixty kilometers from Saint-Brieuc, on the edge of the beautiful medieval city of Dinan. It is located not far from Corseul, Taden and Saint-Samson-sur-Rance.
Created in the 12th century and attached to Corseul then to Saint-Malo, not far away, the town of Quévert was occupied since Antiquity, as evidenced by the remains of blast furnaces found on site. Peaceful over the centuries, it experienced significant demographic growth in the 1960s, taking on a more urban than rural aspect.
Today, Quévert remains appreciated for the charm of its heritage and its proximity to some of the most beautiful tourist sites in this part of Brittany.
