Small town of Mosel, Grand-Est region Sarralbe takes halfway up between Metz and Strasbourg, on the border of Bas-Rhin. It is located in Lorraine, near Sarreguemines, Willerwald or Hinsingen.
Old, City Sarrable appears for the first time in recorded history in the first half of the eighth century under the name of Alba.
