The Canal of Orléans is a monument in the municipality of Vieilles-Maisons-sur-Joudry (Loiret, Centre-Loire Valley). It is an attraction for holidaymakers staying in the region.
Dug out from the 17th century, the canal d'Orléans connects the Loing to the Loire over 78 km. Rowing navigation (forbidden engines), walking on the towpath, straddling the counter-haul road, fishing with the departmental fishing license.
