Every year in Burgundy, the winegrowers at each village gather at the end of January to thank the patron saint for the wine harvest and ask for his protection for the future harvest. Brought back into fashion by the brotherhood of the knights of Tastevin in 1938, this wine festival has ancient roots that date back to the Middle Ages. Each new edition of the festival of St. Vincent takes place in a different village, hence the name of "Tournante", which means "in rotation" in French.

During the weekend, diverse and varied activities take place including a procession followed by a mass, a big meal and of course activities to promote the wines of Burgundy: Mercurey, Nuis-Saint-Goerges, Fixin, Chablis... The most famous wines are celebrated, but so are lesser-known vintages, so the Saint-Vincent Tournante is an opportunity for these villages to raise awareness and appreciation of their wines. Each year, the Saint-Vincent Tournante normally attracts between 30,000 and 40,000 visitors.
