Access

Soubrebost to descend towards the village of Pontarion the Martinèche. Starting in the parking lot of the museum "Maison Martin Nadaud."

Itinerary

From the Maison Martin Nadaud, take the D13 to Soubrebost, then turn at the crossroads left towards Vidaillat and continue for 800 meters and take the path on the right.

The trail heads to the legendary Peter the nine steps (round trip) and continues Perseix. After parking, turn left then right onto a small path to the imposing Stone Duveix. Continue in the woods on the ridge.

After discovering the site of the Croix de Courson, his hut stonemason and its panoramic views, the trail will take you to the village of Soubrebost. His remarkable talent traditional buildings reveals the masons of the Creuse, which in most of the town, have built a church classified historical monument. Cross the village towards Bourganeuf and turn right on a path that joins a track that descends to the village of Martinèche. It passes through the village and Beaumartys, the ridge path, can appreciate a series of views of the surrounding countryside.
