A small mountain town, Crozet is located in the Ain. Located in the country of Gex, at the foot of the Jura, the city is located about twenty kilometers from Geneva, in Switzerland. Bordering Lélex or Saint-Genis-Pouilly, it is also home to a ski area. The village is located at the gates of the National Nature Reserve of the Haute Chaîne du Jura, where visitors and walkers must respect the regulations.
In the past, the town was home to the birthplace of the House of Rossillon, a powerful family from the region. Today, Crozet is best known for its tourism and its many sports activities. Its mountain and forest landscapes are also the charm of this city with deep-rooted traditions.
Gastronomy is also on the program of Crozet, with rich and tasty specialties based on cheese or cold meats. The wines of the region also delight lovers of fine cuisine.
