Municipality of Seine-et-Marne, in the Île-de-France region, Émerainville takes place on the edge of the department of Seine-Saint-Denis. This "mushroom" town which is part of the perimeter of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée takes place not far from Pontault-Combault, Roissy-en-Brie or Champs-sur-Marne.
The history of Émerainville is very strongly linked to that of its Benedictine abbey of nuns founded in the 12th century. A former seigneury near Paris, it has preserved an important architectural and historical heritage from its heyday.
Its proximity to some of the most beautiful tourist sites in the Ile-de-France region and its pleasant and preserved natural setting make it a privileged vacation spot in this part of France.
