Finally, you can approach the surrounding natural area from another angle with the Museum of Minerals and Alpine Fauna. Artisans also welcome you in their farm or workshop to share their know-how.
Throughout your visit you can also admire the vestiges of the past, notably the Romanesque-style Saint-Laurent church of the XIXth century, home to a remarkable organ, and the remains of the delphinal castle.

During the summer you can participate in the Duathlon which combines 6.5 km of running with 15 km of bike.
In early July, the competition continues with the Look Marmotte Grandfondo of the Alps which makes stop at the Bourg-d'Oisans. Over 7,500 cyclists compete in this event.
On the last Sunday in June, the women's motocross races the engines on the roads of the town.
The last weekend of July is the Trail de l'Etendard which awaits the riders for qualifying events.
Mid-June, it's the canoe-kayak competition that rages on the waters of the surrounding lakes.
At the end of June, the Défi des 3 Villards will see the riders compete against each other over 3,000 meters of uneven terrain.
In mid-May, the triathlon starts with mountain biking, canoeing and walking.
Finally, the village remains an unmissable stage of the Tour de France.
