Neuilly-Plaisance

Founded in the late nineteenth century, the city of Neuilly-Plaisance this still a certain charm and a beautiful tourist attraction.

Built in 1932, the church of Our Lady of the Assumption, also called the Church of Avron, is a modern construction of reinforced concrete and brick. Binocular at several points of the Notre Dame du Raincy, the church also has beautiful stained glass windows representing several saints.

In the city, visitors can find a memorial granite dating from 1886. It was built in memory of soldiers who died during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870.

One can still find the first Emmaus community founded in France by Abbé Pierre in 1949.

The animations are not lacking in Neuilly-Plaisance, and the festivals follow one another to embellish the streets of the city and seduce the inhabitants.

The markets of Neuilly-Plaisance take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sunday mornings in Republic Square and on Friday mornings in Stalingrad Square.

A Christmas market is also proposed in December.

In April, the Hors Limites festival is a literary event with readings and lectures for all ages. At the same time, the city also offers Black Weekend, a detective book fair.

Weekend en Fête is an event proposed in June with animations around a giant barbecue.

The Neuilly-Plaisance children's book fair, the terroir and creative arts fair take place in December.
