A 16th century building erected for Louis Picot de Santeny, the Château d'Ormesson was extended in the 18th century for the Lefèvre d'Ormesson family. Listed as a Historic Monument, it is entirely made of freestone and brick, consisting of a square plan on three levels with four corner towers mounted on squinches.
A second main building has been added on the garden side. Classic in style, it consists of four levels including an attic. The Château d'Ormesson is also surrounded by a 140 hectare estate of which 70 are classified and 54 are dedicated to a golf course.
