Small town in the Ardennes, in East Grand region Villers-Semeuse takes place just outside Charleville-Mezieres, in the heart of the urban metropolis Ardennes. It is also located near Ville-sur-Lumes, The Ayvelles and Evigny.
Created in 1828 from the merger of the villages of Villers and Sower, the town sits on a territory with much older origins. Over the centuries it has gradually forged the face we know today, knowing an important economic boom in the 1970s with the establishment of a foundry for manufacturing parts for Citroën.
Today Villers-Semeuse continues to attract visitors passing through the area in the interest of its architectural and historical heritage as well as its proximity to some of the most beautiful sights of the Ardennes.
