Circuit of the Vallons

Depart from the town of Gasques, latitude 44.1536500 (N 44° 9’ 13”), longitude 0.9192100 (E 0° 55’ 9”)

• Way to the right

• Park in the car park of the village hall, behind the church (XVth, remodeled nineteenth, with virgin to the child of the seventeenth)
• Return to the village entrance sign (D46) and the splendid barn of the oak barn, whose frame angle is supported by a large stone pillar.
• Take the dirt road on the right which runs along the rear facades of houses and gardens. The path quickly joins the campaign. Continue straight on 1km.

• D74

• Soon the way leads to the D74

• Turn of "John of the Fa"

• Follow the yellow markings on the left. In the bend after 'Jean du Fa', go down the shady path following a stream.

• Path behind the washhouse

• At the end of the path, cross the bridge and all after that, take the path that goes behind the laundry.

• "Long place"

• Continue the path that leads to the hamlet of "long place"

• Right road

• Follow the road on the left then turn right on a dirt road, sometimes lined with trees, which goes directly to the houses of "Camps de Carelles".
• Take the D74 for 80m and turn right onto a dirt road that goes down slightly on the edge of the woods to go up further to "Barlié".

• Crest road

• The path is then tarred to the ridge road.

• Water tower

• Take the road on the left (west) towards Perville on 700m towards the water tower.

• Road in right angle

• Before the water tower, take the dirt road on the left that you follow until you reach a paved road forming a right angle.

• At the edge of the board

• Go down 700m on the left and go around the houses of "Mondot". Continue to the edge of the plateau.

• Before the Sap castle

• You can make a round trip of 200m to admire the rock source of Roquebiard (taking the grassy path on the right then down to the source). Retrace your steps and go under the houses of "Lacombe". The widening path rounds the edge of the board.
• Before the castle of Sap, leave the path used for the exploitation of orchards to go down on the right, on the communal road parallel to the previous one, but narrower and slightly lower.

• Small road near the old aqueduct

• We can see the Sap castle with its two square towers, transformed into dovecotes.
• The narrow path runs along the valley near the rocky outcrops (watch out for any landslides). It widens under the castle Su Sap (XVI) and goes up on the plateau until the farm of "Bordeneuve". The path is then tarred and goes down into the valley.
• Arrived on the small road, you can if you want to go back and left to admire the old brick aqueduct (nineteenth) that can be seen (Aqueduct that led the water to nearby lakes).

• Cross the meadow

• Otherwise, cross the small road that leads to "Borie" and go up opposite in the hillside to the hamlet of "Salles".
• On the plateau, go round the chapel 'Church of the 15th nativity' and go down towards the stream of "Roquebiard" by the paved road (towards the east).
• Cross the D46, take across through meadow, to go up to the village of Gasques.
