Chevilly-Larue

The Sainte-Colombe church, which dates from the 11th century, is listed in the Historic Monuments. Owned by the Notre-Dame chapter, it underwent many renovations and other modifications between the 13th and 19th centuries, revealing a beautiful Cistercian Romanesque façade. Considered one of the oldest churches in the Île-de-France, it still unveils a 12th-century choir, as well as a chapel under the belfry of the 15th century. It can be visited on the second Sunday of each month, in the afternoon.

As you walk through the city, do not miss the 18th-century Pavilion listed in the Historic Monuments and the Bon-Sauveur Chapel built in the 1930s.

Several cultural panels revealing the history of the city dot the city to offer a better understanding of Chevilly-Larue.

The market is held on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. A rural market is offered a weekend in September, while the lively Christmas market is organized in December.

The communal festival is held in mid-June with its animations, fireworks and rides.

Between July and August, Les Planches develop a program of activities for young and old at Parc Petit-le-Roy.
