Things to see and do

Dedicated to the late nineteenth century, the current church is dedicated to Notre Dame. This monumental building replaced the old Romanesque church of the town. From this original building, one can still admire a bas-relief, as well as a polychrome Virgin. Renovated in the early 2000s, it dominates the campaign of the banks of Rance, revealing its architecture quite original. Small peculiarity, we discover Satan represented under the pulpit.

While strolling in the town, you will also be able to discover the castle of the Town Bodin or the manor of Saint-Meleuc. Built in the 15th century, the latter is the former residence of the seigneurial family of Saint-Meleuc, one of whose members, royalist, was involved in the conspiracy Magon in 1793 and sentenced to death by decapitation.

The town also has a conservatory orchard, and it is possible to discover the museum of Apple and Cider.

During your walks or hikes, do not miss the dolmen wood Tougeais, or the port of Mordreuc and its famous seal.

To enjoy the sea and its benefits, head to the beaches of Mordreuc and Ville Ger, and you can also explore the valley of Val Hervelin.
