Things to see and do

Registered Historic Monument, Castle Plouër was completely rebuilt in the seventeenth century on the ruins of a medieval fortress. Louis XIII style, it reveals a beautiful French-style flowerbeds park enrolled in pre-inventory Remarkable Gardens.

Walking through the town, be sure not to admire the tide mill which houses apartments today, the tower of green oak, the chapel of the Souhaitier, place of pilgrimage for sailors of the nineteenth century or the beautiful church St. Peter and Paul of the eighteenth century. The latter has in its interior a chair, three altarpieces, three recumbent figures of the fifteenth century and a lectern classified historic monument as an object.

Listed building, the covered walkway Bel Evan deserves your attention. Neolithic, it measures nearly five meters long and has a cella adjoining the bedroom. Partially ruined, it is entirely made of quartz.

Located in an estuary that once fed a former marsh mill, the marina attracts visitors with its unique setting and the beauty of its boats.

Several marked hiking trails allow you to enjoy the natural beauty and architecture of the Breton city.
