Landevieille is a village in Vendée, in the Pays de la Loire region, 35 kilometers west of La Roche-sur-Yon.
Located only 5 kilometers from the Atlantic coast, the town whose very name evokes a landscape once made up of moors and heather is still focused on agricultural activity (950 hectares out of the 1,382 that cover its territory). However, crafts and now tourism, with several campsites and a holiday village, have developed. Between sea and bocage, Landevieille where nearly 1400 inhabitants are listed offers a preserved living environment with several rivers crossing the locality and a certain associative dynamism.
