Built in the first half of the 16th century for a wealthy merchant, the Armagnac house of Rodez still unveils a very beautiful facade today mixing Gothic and Renaissance styles.
Listed as a Historic Monument, it is one of the oldest houses in the town. It takes place on the remains of the castle of the Counts of Armagnac. The building is adorned with grotesques and a corbel typical of the Gothic style, as well as antique medallions and dormer windows that are more reminiscent of the Renaissance.
Shops are now located on the ground floor of the house of Armagnac.
